Dolce Gabbana Spring-Summer 2027 Bags: Every Bag from the Men’s Runway

Dolce Gabbana Spring-Summer 2027 bags told the story of a Sicilian holiday packed for real travel: oversized totes, straw Coffa baskets and soft flap bags filled the runway in Milan.

The collection, titled Vacanze Siciliane, traced a journey through the island of the 1950s and 1960s, and the show notes carried a line from Goethe — “Sicily is the clue to everything” — as its opening statement. A giant screen behind the catwalk projected Taormina and the Isola Bella shifting from dawn to full daylight, while Mediterranean columns framed the runway. Every bag on it was sized for departure.

A Sicilian Journey Staged in the Milan Heat

The show opened in Nero Sicilia — black tailoring, black accessories — and moved through sea blues, pistachio, sand and granita pastels before closing in total white. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in their joint statement that they wanted to capture “the richness and complexity of this land,” from Greek temples to Baroque cities to artisanal workshops.

The bags followed that same arc. Guests arriving in the June Milan heat watched models carry luggage-scale pieces past a projected Sicilian coastline, and the message read clearly: this was a wardrobe built around the act of leaving for the island.

The My Sicily Bag, Scaled Up in Ostrich, Suede and Crocodile Effect

The clearest accessory story of the Men’s Spring-Summer 2027 Fashion Show was the oversized My Sicily bag, reworked as a masculine, travel-minded flap bag with a top handle, long shoulder strap, side zippers and the house’s leather luggage tag finished with a miniature padlock. On the runway, the silhouette moved between briefcase, weekender and soft messenger, keeping the recognisable Sicily structure while giving it more volume, weight and attitude.

The most dramatic versions came in exotic-effect surfaces. A glossy black ostrich execution opened the story with a full quill-textured body, polished hardware and a compact top handle. The same construction appeared again in cream ostrich, worn crossbody against an all-white look, where the bag felt lighter but still deliberately oversized.

Crocodile-embossed editions gave the shape its most assertive finish: a pale ivory version with a high-shine surface, an inky black interpretation partially hidden beneath tailoring, and a lacquered red model styled with a burgundy knit and striped trousers.

The red crocodile-effect My Sicily was the most cinematic of the group, all gloss, scale and movement.

There was also a softer reading of the bag. A dark chocolate suede version introduced a quieter, more tactile mood, with smooth leather trims, a structured handle and a detachable strap. In taupe grained leather, the My Sicily became closer to a slouchy messenger, carried under the arm with a more relaxed shape and less formal surface.

Canvas Market Totes and Crocodile-Effect Belt Bags

Alongside the enlarged My Sicily, the Men’s Spring-Summer 2027 Fashion Show introduced a second accessories story built around two related bag types: oversized canvas market totes framed in crocodile-embossed leather and more structured crocodile-effect belt bags.

The canvas totes delivered the strongest volume statement. Cut in a wide trapezoid shape, they recalled refined market bags or oversized travel totes, while crocodile-embossed leather framed the construction across the top band, handles, vertical straps and reinforced corners. The palette followed the collection’s sun-washed mood: natural canvas with black or burgundy trim, denim blue with navy, chocolate with dark brown, dusty pink with bordeaux, and olive canvas with mint-green crocodile-effect leather.

The second variation moved closer to the DG Belt language mentioned in the show materials. Here, vertical straps, buckled details and a firmer structure gave the bags a stronger messenger-meets-holdall presence. The olive and mint version was the clearest example: military canvas softened the body, while pale crocodile-effect leather traced the edges.

The Trapezoid Tote: From Crocodile Effect to Soft Travel Leather

Wide at the top, structured at the base and carried by hand or over the shoulder, the shape sat somewhere between a market tote, a weekender and a polished travel bag. Dolce & Gabbana used it in several directions: high-gloss crocodile-effect leather, soft grained leather, suede-like textures and canvas combinations framed with leather details.

The most striking versions were the full crocodile-effect totes, including a vivid coral orange and a pale mint green style, both scaled large enough to dominate the look. The same silhouette appeared in softer leather interpretations — a deep burgundy grained-leather version worn on the shoulder, and a dark brown ostrich-effect bag that gave the shape a more vintage travel attitude. In navy suede, the trapezoid tote was finished with smooth leather straps and a large interlocked DG detail.

The Coffa Bag and the Raffia Family

Coffa bags crafted from natural straw connected the lineup directly to Sicilian market tradition. The palm-woven baskets took crocodile-embossed trim at the rim and handles — black, orange or chocolate — plus the same padlock-and-tag hardware as the leather pieces. One XL version was carried over the shoulder like a sack.

A crocheted raffia tote in natural tones came hung with miniature crocheted bananas and a leather-framed mirror charm, the kind of styling flourish that ran through the whole season.

Brooch-Covered Bags: The Collection’s Jewelry Box

The embellished group translated the collection’s jewelry-inspired embroidery onto full bag surfaces. A black raffia hobo carried golden baroque scrollwork in crystals and baguette stones, set with cameos and rough emerald-green minerals. A cream canvas tote with brown leather trim was pinned edge to edge with vintage-style brooches — insects, cameos, crowned medallions, pearl clusters. A black leather duffle took the same treatment with an antique pocket-watch motif at its center. A navy woven tote framed its golden volutes with black croc trim, and a raspberry-striped raffia tote layered tortoiseshell beaded fringe, crystal bows and a croc sunglasses case clipped on as a functional charm.

Crocodile-Effect Clutches and Small Handle Bags

The smaller bags in the Men’s Spring-Summer 2027 Fashion Show sharpened the collection’s accessories story with a more evening-led attitude. Most appeared in dark, masculine tones: black, espresso brown and deep burgundy, styled against sheer knit shirts, tailoring, denim and striped summer trousers. Some versions were minimal, with only the embossed crocodile texture and metal logo plate doing the work. Others came with a short chain, small padlock or charm detail, linking them back to the luggage codes seen across the larger bags. A tan crocodile-effect clutch softened the line with a warmer, more relaxed finish, while the burgundy versions added a richer, almost lacquered accent to the collection’s Mediterranean palette.

There was also a more casual variation: a compact rounded pouch with a wrist strap, carried almost like a travel case. In caramel and red crocodile-effect leather, it brought the same glossy exotic texture into a softer, more practical shape.

Suede Totes and Hobos in Chocolate and Burgundy

The final group softened the silhouette: tall north-south suede totes in chocolate and burgundy with side belt straps, a rigid top bar and a silver logo plaque, plus slouchy suede hobos in dark brown and grained-leather versions in ivory.

These are the pieces most likely to translate directly into the commercial season — generous, unlined-looking, and built around the idea that a summer bag should swallow everything and still look composed on a hotel terrace.

The bags of Vacanze Siciliane worked because they stayed literal: baskets, weekenders, market totes — the objects of an actual Sicilian holiday, executed in ostrich, crocodile effect and hand-crocheted raffia.
